Here's a Blues lick in G, using double stops.

Sound

I use a Fulltone OCD pedal and the clean channel of the Mesa Boogie V-Twin preamp with some reverb added in pro tools.

Theory

Here we play the G Blues scale with an added major third (B note). The second and third double stops are played using hybrid picking (pick + middle or ring finger). This lick should be played on the G7 chord.
