GuitarMasterClass, often called GMC, was founded March 12th 2006 by Kristofer Dahl - a professional guitarist and instructor resident in Stockholm, Sweden. The first  guitar lesson ever was The Motto is Oops - solo. Read more about the original gmc idea.
GMC grew steadily in a short period of time, and today thousands of daily visitors and members take part of video lessons and the friendly GMC community.
Since the beginning, Kristofer has cooperated with ultimate-guitar.com, and his popular lessons there has kept the interest growing.
In June 2007, GuitarMasterClass officially became a part of the newly founded company Rock My Web AB, of which Kristofer is owner and executive director.
In November 2007, GMC Community completed it's first song collaboration: "You Ready?"
