The variax line is going through several changes and I saw this latest edition. Has anyone played one yet? I was wondering if the price is mostly for the electronics stuck in a cheap guitar.

There are not any available within 100 miles of me to pick up and play, so I would like your thoughts.

Ear Buds For Stage

The group I am playing with uses personal monitors and wants me to use a form of ear buds or over the ear headphones.

I have been looking at Bose ear buds that run around $100 but what do you guys think would be good? Are there wireless options out there that won't cost me an arm and a leg? I hate being limited on movement when playing.

Damage To House

Had a lightning strike two weeks ago and blew out internet and Xbox.

Today one of the kids left the bathroom sink on and it flooded into the dining room...have to replace portions of the ceiling...lots of fun.

Luckily it did not ruin the bathroom floor, just the cabinet. Ruined carpet and kitchen table too, but at least it did not get into the basement where my gear is...

So it could have been worse.
