Hey guys,
I got a new guitar (finally) tongue.gif Schecter Damien FR.
It's my first guitar that I actually own so i just had to show it off biggrin.gif
I've been playing a crappy Alvarez and the difference between them is huge. I got it for $350 at a local shop, cheaper then musicians friend! It plays awesome especially for only costing $350

I've only been playing a couple weeks, I got most of my pentatonics down, but I play them with just my index and ring finger. I notice Kris uses his pinky sometimes. Should I be using my pinky? Will it effect my speed if i just use my ring finger?

Example:
Am pentatonic scale
e|---------------------5-8-5----------------------|
b|-----------------5-8-------8-5------------------|
g|-------------5-7---------------7-5--------------|
d|---------5-7-----------------------7-5----------|
a|-----5-7-------------------------------7-5------|
e|-5-8---------------------------------------8-5--|
