First of all, hello everyone, my name is Ivan, i'm from Spain and i've been playing since some years (even though just ocassionally, i do it as a hobby on my spare time). Singed up because i'd really want to go a step further and start trying to play guitar nice
At the level i am, i just build power chords structures and what i like most is improvising using the natural scales M & m.
Introduccion done, here goes a little trouble i can't seem to get rid of, hope some of you can give me a hint on this...
Lets see if can i explain myself: lets say, im playing a scale just in natural ascendent progression... while switching from one string to another i can seem to effortless make every note sound clean and not mixing with any sound coming from the previous string hit. Thats nice, just comes natural, but i can't really make it work on the last 2 strings (the thinner ones), always when i raise my finger out of the 2nd i can hear more or less the note sounding at air. Tried so hard to mute it (not raising the finger too fast or even raising it but keeping finger contact on the string), that usually results on the first note corresponding to the 1st string not sounding at all because i messed up my fingers
Any hint or tip on how to avoid this?, thank you very much in advance!
[EDIT] Attach you a sample i recorded now, not sure if its clearly noticeable there...
