i want to make something that sounds like really deep passion stuff u know. stuff that u can break out in a bluesy sounding riff out of nowhere and finish it off with some really fast $hit. kind of like marcus's new three level solo lesson. but i don't know what chords to use to make a backround. i can imagine it in my head but it's hard to get it on the guitar. any help on what i can do to make a chord proggression sound more like something on the lines of for the love of god?

ok... in some point of the video buckethead uses his fingers on his right hand in a technique called finger nubbing. where he pulls of his right hand fingers in time with his left and makes a super robotic sounding sound. there's lessons on u tube but nobody tops him it's impossible

Marty Friedman is quickly becoming one of my favorite guitarist just because he barely ever looks at his hands. also his improvisation is unmatched and is known for how he uses every NOT in the scale he's in to make a pentatonic scale which gives a kinda eerie sound.

Jason Becker is probably in my top 5 of favorite guitarist, and is probably the most inspirational. I couldn't imagine being in his position.
