Guitar For Young Guy?

Hey there,

My 10 year old son is very interested in my guitar lately. I was thinking of getting him an electric guitar for X-Mas. Any ideas? How about the Ibanez Mikro?

Hey there,

My brother wants me to play Canon in D at his wedding - but NOT the rocked out version I see all over YouTube. Can anyone direct me to a tab of a classy version? I'm talking about the melody - I'll be playing over a backing track.

2 Year Anniversary!

Hey All,

2 years at GMC! Just wanted to thank all of the the talented instructors who have been helping me out during this time. The progress I've made blows my mind. I played for about 15 years before joining GMC, but my playing was limited to open & power chords, and the trusty minor pentatonic scale box #1. Now I'm about learning EVH "Eruption" and Emir's "Rock Ballad Solo" and Ivan's "Brian Setzer Style Lesson". In the past, I never dreamed of playing like that. When I get those polished and get some guts, I'll post a vid.

Thanks GMC & all the fellow guitarists on the forums - you've made the impossible possible for me!

Video Player Not Working?

Suddenly, the video player for all new videos is not working. The page comes up, but the "monitor area" is blank white and no video plays. Anyone else having this problem?

Don't know why I can't get my head around this topic.

If I had the following pedals, how would you configure them?

Wah
Compressor
Overdrive/Distortion
Octave pedal
Phase 90
Stereo Chorus
Delay

And which ones go through send/return?

Any thoughts?
