Hey everyone. Ive been bouncing around tGMC for about a month and I really like it. I have been "playing" guitar since fathers day when my son bought me a guitar. So I am brand new to the instrument. I have already learned so much here at GMC. Look forward to seeing u in the forum.

Has anyone ever heard of Devlin guitars www.shsaudio.com/devlin.htm sorry I couldn't get the link to work.

They r all set neck guitars that aren't all that exspensive, I was wondering if anyone had any info on them

This whole scale thing has me all sorts of confused. I understand the a minor penetonic scale mode, and the c major as well. I guess my question is do u have to memorize the modes for each scale pattern up and down the fretboard, or is there some formula kinda like the 22122 for the penetonic scale. because when u do the 22122 formula and u start on the low e string it works, but if u move to the a string and try the formula I don't think it works. I am sorry if this confuses anyone but it has me all confused.

Hello fellow GMCers.
New to the fourm,( and fairly new to the guitar, and I love gmc)
I have a pup question.

very soon I am going to be replacing the bridge pup in my dean vendetta. so far I have 3 choices

1. Bill Lawrence L500XL

2. Seymour Duncan sh-6 distortion humbucker

3.Dimarzio dp100 super distortion

If andbody could give some insight it would be much appreciated
