Hi all,
I am new to the guitar, and found this site which is simply fantastic to someone like me. I am at beginners stage (New Kid On The Block), and it all seems daunting to me when I listen to how people on here play... almost like everest! My Guitar is a Takamine TSF48C which when played by someone with talent, sounds superb. I am NOT young either I am 39 so quite late to be learning a Gat, so any helpful advice would be much appreciated, I do have trouble with some chords that stretch over say 4 frets! I have BIG hands but they work like a SLOW robot WITHOUT rhythm! lol I look forward to learning from pretty much EVERYONE here lol Thanks for the great Site, Kevin.

Hi all,
I am a newbie, and am learning to play a guitar. One of my all time favorite bands are the eagles, so consequently i purchased a Takamine TSF48C which thus far I love ( even though I cant really utilize its potential yet When I got to learn of this site, i soon realised that there are far more types of music I would like to play that I am not sure my Guitar will allow me to achieve. So I would like to buy a classical, and a electric, so that I can learn rock songs, as well as flaminco/classical type music. Could someone here please be so kind as to suggest what would be great value for money in BOTH these categories? As I am NOT made of money, and my wife (management) would not be too thrilled at me spending what she deems excessive amounts on 2 more guitars , when in her eyes I have already spent waaaay to much on my Takamine! lol Thank you in advance, and thank you for this superb learning site! Kevin. |
