Solo Rules ?

Hello all

I can play the most of Intermediate solos.
And I can improvising too.
The thing is.. I dont know what i do there.
I just try to feel witch note I must use.

Sure I can play guitar solos, alternate/sweep picking and this kind of things.(slow but clear)
But i learned all step by step from your videos and dont know what I really do there.
Its good to play this lessons but i want to know WHY this notes, scales and chords ....


Question: What is the RULE of a solo? How to play harmonic solo to the chords?

What are good notes and what bad notes?

First I thougt: Just play notes from the scale and on every chord-change be at the basic tone.
( So if the chord is start to G, just play some notes from the scale and end with the the G note...)

But all what I play is boring. Just notes up and down...
What must I do to play a real solo? How to work it out? With note(s) on a chord?

I give an example.

The chords: C | G/B | Am | F | 4/4

With scale here to play and why? With notes sounds good on that chords`?

I would like to essentially hear your opinion to my guitar-build-plan.

This here are only conceptions and I have nothing do right now.
But I start in some time with my work.

At the first to the new colour. My favorite colours are black and red.
My guitar (Ibanez) is already red, so i want just use black at the time.

Finger Problems

Hey Marcus!

I have some big problems with my fingers and my playing skill (on guitar).

I play arround 10-14 month

First my fingers : I try to practice 3-5 hours a day.

The thing is: Ive try to play your lessons and my ambition is very very high!
But your bendings are the killer. Three days ago, my nails are torn from my fingers and i get some blood ;(
First I did not notice that but then..... ouch!

Now ive made a break for some days but its not better. Its hurt very much (my finger bones too)
I want do everthing to play like you but I must find the right way to practice your skills.
I hope you can help me on this problem.

Now my playing skills: First i make an warm up (15min)


When I play after my warmup, Iam very slow and inaccurately.
I missed some notes and can just play on the slowest backing-track.

BUT: After 2 hours I can play very fast and good. All my bendings are right and its sounds well.
I thougt when I can play a song, I play this everytime good.
But every morning when I want play this again what I learn, I cant and must practice again

Its not funny to be just a good guitarist after some many time warmin up.

What can I do now ? Thank you for your time and help.

Help To Find A Lesson....

My problem is a little strange.

I found here yesterday a beautiful guitar-solo and it also learned.

But after a break I forgot everything. (Just played it 2-3 times)



So i try to find this lesson again but i dont know the name

After 2 hours i gived up. I think ive searched everywhere in your categories. But i dont find it back

But i have the backtrack from this lesson.

So i post this backtrack and you can hopefully find the lesson.


I just record it to make it slowly with my program..
Sometimes the lessons are hard for beginner so i slow
it down and can learn it better.
