Hairband?

Hey Muris.

I'd actually have liked to ask Trond this question, but since I couldn't find his instructor board, I'd ask you instead sorry if its already been asked before..

I've noticed that sometimes, the guitarist has a hairband mounted around the neck of the guitar.. why is that? The only logical explaination I can come up with, would be something like automatic palm-muting effect, but I'm not sure?

Hallo everybody

I've been playing guitar for some years now, but sadly I've never been really good at it I could find tabs, practice them and eventually play the song, but I came to realise that it didn't make me a good guitarist. Sure, I could play, but all the cool techniques and stuff.. no. It actually made me put down my guitar for quite some time about a year ago, but now I've finally decided to really do something about it I'll want to get the basics right and actually -develop-, not "just" play. So I searched around the net and found this site, and thought it looked awesome -- and so far I seem to be right The lessons here are so encouraging and the forum seems nifty =)
