New Guy From Sweden

Hey guys!

Found this site and registred after seeing some clips by kris on youtube.
This seems like a nice place to be if u wanna learn guitar so im happy i found you

I am 23 years old and have played on and off since i was 7 and heard jimi hendrix for the first time.
So im not a beginner, but since i never had a teacher ive missed out all the basics and "secrets"
Ive played in some bands but in the last few years i have barely touched the guitar.

So... hearing some fresh songs from steve vai made me blow the dust of my strat again and now i wanna get rid of all the noisemaking bad habits i collected through the years.


Im kind of having a hard time to navigate on the site and i dont really know where to start so maybe you could give me a push in the right direction? I need to practice on tightness, right/left hand coordination, tone and all that seperates a good guitarist from a mediocre one
(and right now im really in to vai, so you maybe have some good exercises for that style aswell?)


Again, really happy to be here and i hope i can learn something from you guys.
