Hello everybody,

today I have a lesson request for a style called "shoegazing". My girlfriend really likes this style, and I come to like it too. It's a nice contrast to all the metal and punk stuff I usually listen to tongue.gif
I believe the best-known song is "just like honey" by "the jesus and mary chain", although other songs make more use of the shoegazing guitar.
Below is a wiki articel about shoegazing and the song "just like honey".
Does anybody else like this style and/or wants to make a lesson about it?

My first try, recorded with my cellphone... rolleyes.gif

John Frusciante Style Lesson by Gabriel ( http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...ciante-lesson/ )
I used my Oakland ZX 1200 guitar and a Behringer V-Tone GM108 15 watt amp, all recorded with my Nokia 6120 cellphone.

Hi guys,
I really enjoyed my first 6 months here at GMC from june till december 2008. Then I didn`t renew my membership ( I don`t recall if there's been a reason at all...) but focused on playing with my band, the Rocking Sixties. Yeah, we're a coverband, covering anything from the 60's until now (unfortunately, as I must say). I am 28 years old, my bandmembers are all older than 50, sometimes 60, but it's really cool to play with them. But I'm having trouble to convince them that Bon Jovi's "it's my life" is not a good song for us...
Well, I've made great improvements during my time here at GMC. Being a rhythm guitar player for like 16 years, I'm pretty good at rhythm stuff and a quick study too.
I really want to get deeper into playing alternative and metal rhythm, but also solo stuff, as a contrast to the stuff I play in my band (which I also really love, but it's not that much of a challenge).
And I really like the community here, everone is friendly and always ready to answer any question.
So it's great to be back!
