I'm thinking we'll actually use what Gabe has tabbed and play that (doing any variations etc we want), it's already structured (has a verse etc) that could just be brought directly over to song form. But yes, something original for all the lead stuff.

Cool tongue.gif Do you have it down 100% so you can play it up to tempo and hit each note every time you play it? Important for recording tongue.gif

well i can do a high thing with my voice but i cant seem to get words out.... just "aaaahs" and stuff tongue.gif. maybe have my high ahhhhs in the verse with you singing over the top then for the chorus have harmonized vocals? ofcourse we'd need a backing track before we plan the vocals melodies and stuff tongue.gif

has anyone got any arrangement ideas?

maybe

intro
verse
chorus
riff
verse
chorus
breakdown with solos n stuff
chorus

just an idea ;p
i see theres a few guitarists already, i could just do keyboard/vox if you want.

When you mention the intro and all that are you referring to specific parts of the lesson or just as a general idea?

Here's the guitarport* tone I'm using by the way, if anyone can use it. I think it sounds decent. Not a good lead tone but good for rhythm at least.

Well, you have to have gearbox. which is a line6 product - comes with stuff like the toneport that I have, guitarport, or any variation of the pod if I'm correct. Just kind of useful to share between us that have it. Not a big deal if you don't smile.gif If you do, just download it and it should open directly in gearbox.

by the way manhunta (hope you dont mind if I keep calling you that tongue.gif) the noise gate was meant to be in the ON position in that file, eliminates the little hum you get but doesn't affect the tone.

Well, are we alowed to use the riffs from gabe's lesson? If so, i found some vocal ideas for the 5th video. Could be verry nice as chorus. at the arpegio part like "wan-ted" and then off to the occtaves.."dead or ali-ive"
Maybe not those lyrics, but maybe something similar?
E------------------
H----5----3-----------6-------5---3--3h5
.......wan-ted.... .... ..dead or a-li-ive
