To say the least . Its driving me up a wall ! blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif . The problem I have with accenting is I dont get the whole concept of making the first note in the sequence " Stand Out ". And even if I am doing It right I wouldnt know. Right now im just going by " If it sounds like its being accented it must be " but that isnt a very reliable source in my opinion. I havnt learned past video 2 just because I dont want to be doing anything wrong and have to retrace my tracks. I hear the accenting in your playing but not my own , any help on accenting ? huh.gif . Thanks smile.gif

Hey m8! The thing is really simple - just play it slowly and hit the first note of the sequence harder than the rest of the notes smile.gif

Yeah, it pretty much IS if it sounds accented, it is. As long as you can tell it apart from the others.

I think that you do more than that with your note groups Pavel. They are as good as anyone around here. I am not saying you consciously do something, but still, I think you do more than just accent the first note. In fact, I know you do. To me, what makes some musicians interesting, is in a great part how they play the note groups. But it may not be obvious what exactly they are doing to make them special. It can be very subtle. But you know it when you hear it.

Thanks man! But honestly i don't know what else i do. Maybe it is something you get with experience and it just stays in your fingers but not in your head ?!
