OK, maybe lame, but outside my passion for guitar, I also love to cook. There are so many members here from all over the world I thought it would be great to share tastes. Give a recipe if you can, simple or complex. We all have to eat! biggrin.gif

I'll start with my favorite; FRIED PORK CHOPS!

It's all in how you bread them. Start with 4-5 thin cut bone-in chops.
Roll the chops in 1/4 cup milk and 2 beaten eggs.
(breading) 1 Gallon zip-lok bag with 3 cups all-purpose flour, 3 tsp salt, 3 tsp pepper.
Shake chops in flour. Roll again in egg/milk.
Shake chops again in flour, This is key to getting a good crust. (roll twice)
Fry chops in pan or fryer until golden brown.

Best you will ever have!

Now, give me something to try! tongue.gif

I love cooking, my favorite recipe is a simple penne pasta with sauted red onions and heavy dilitated marinara.

i love making omellettes! Most people cook them on high heat very quickly but i do the opposite wink.gif

3 large eggs (its a greedy one)
fry up some bacon with onions then dice both
chop a tomato
grated cheeese

3 eggs in the bowl, add small amount of cream and add salt/pepper
set pan to minimum/ just above minimum heat (allow 10 mins to heat up)
butter in the pan
add egg mixture

fold in sides (like a normal omellette)

add bacon/onion mix to the top (once it has mostly solidified)
add tomatoes on top of omellette (you dont want to fry them, keep them nice and juicy)
then add all cheese on top

fold over into half

wait till cheese melted, and serve with a glass of orange juice, lots of tomato ketchup and two slices of thick crusty bread wih lots of butter!

Heaven wub.gif

fine its not real cooking but im almost there wink.gif

I found a lazy man's way to make an omelette.
First get a freezer bag and put the eggs in it (w/o shell smile.gif)
throw in what you want (ham, bell pepper, ect.)
Zip it tight and put it in boiling water and wait a few minutes.
It tastes the same but then you have a strange shaped blob omelette and its a little weird.

The new GMC Cookbook Recipes! Can't wait for Muris's lesson on how to make lasagna. Of course I'll have to study Andrew's theory on how this foods work into the daily food chain and how I can incorporate them into my cooking.

Watch out for the folding in half bit then Hemmy - it's fraught with unseen difficulty smile.gif
