Hi GMC-ers!

This time let’s blast some riffs! 80’s style, mad.gif

The backing track is a lead on keyboards that lacks a riff (I didn't include a bass line so it doesn't interfere with your riff). So play any riff you can come up with that goes along with the lead on top. It doesn’t have to be complex or play some harmonizing of the keyboards but if you want to do that, it’s fine! Maybe a combination of the two?

All notes played on the lead are part of the Em scale. C# and D#(leading tone) appear on the slowed part.

The idea is to give the lead a good solid backing riff! It can be only palm muted power chords! There are endless possibilities,

If you can, record the riff twice on two tracks and pan them 100% each one to one side (left - right). And then upload the mp3.

Tempo: 181bpm

Deadline: December 13th/09 (extended a week more)

I both like (and dislike) how your last two collabs are so similar to the ideas that I had for future collaborations. However!

Btw. does it have to be in style of 80's? I dont like that music much, so I'd prefer it to do in more of technical/progressive death metal style

Then this will be awesome practice. Remember that the powerchords are fairly neutral and will be more forgiving, love those fifths!
