It's particularly interesting as (0:43) how he menage to guide the audience to sing the tone that he still hasn't demonstrated !

Humans have natural ability to recognize note ranges, and depending on the region, this ability has shifted to note ranges predominantly used in the region. When two or more of these groups met in time and place, they created fusion of these scales, and this is how music developed amongst other ways. Blues?
