It is really hard to find covers that can really add more/ other meaning to the original songs, so I'm curious what are your favourite covers
Here are some of my faves: |

Though, for me, nothing will be as awesome as Hansi singing Led Zeppelin, it's a close match |

speaking of putting other feeling/meaning to a song I've always got the versions of the song "Hurt" by NiN/Cash in my mind. I really like that hurt cover. This is one of my favorite covers, also its not close to the music the band plays at all. -------------------- Guitars:
Ibanez S770PB (Natural Flat) , Ibanez XPT700 (Chameleon) , Sterling J Richardson Signature , Squire IV Jazz Bass (Sunburst) Gear: Neural DSP Plugins My YouTube Page. |

guess that's the smallest set I ever saw Portnoy using
Nice cover version you posted, I like the guitar stuff. Still also love the original version, everytime I stumble across it, it's hard to believe that was made back in 69 returning to cover stuff as I already wrote in the chat, I forgot to mention one of my favourite german bands: Panzerballett They take well known songs from rock, metal, pop and jazz, completely beat them to pieces and use the segments to build something that still makes you remember which song it was but it's still nowhere near the original version. Pretty Jazz-metal like and quite complex stuff. examples: Smoke on the Water, Thunderstruck, Pink Panther theme Take Five cover in quintuplets They also have some own compositions. really worth to check out was going to see them live on friday, but the concert got cancelled |

Especially after I got over the feeling of falling down stairs with that timing.I am definately going to listen to more stuff from these guys, I had never heard of them before today, thanks to you and Sol for turning me on to these guys. |
