That is my number one travel destination. I am hoping that the Founder of Virgin® really does get his new company off the ground(pun intended). If he can, then I don't care how much debt I have to put myself into, I am getting on one of those shuttles.

I'd have to say the same. I studied space engineering for my undergrad because I like outer space so much

Even going on an anti-gravity plane would be awesome.

When I go back to school this fall my Majors will be Biology and Astronomy. My minor will be Earth Science. I will take Music, Math, English, and Chemistry courses as well. Truth be told, the only music classes I feel I would benefit from at a college are theory classes. Everything else is online, and I have so many friends from different genres that I jam with regularly, so that is already covered.

Plus, living in the states is depressing as far as science curriculum is concerned. Public schools are degrading and too many people are trying to debase proven methods of explanation.

Any form of incoherent data. A lot of schools are forced to succumb to the state and federal governments taking money away from the public education system. In turn, this makes publishing companies print textbooks that are horrid. I remember my 10th grade history book dedicating a single paragraph to the Renaissance. I actually asked my teacher to loan me a decade old textbook which he then taught me out of, as opposed to the modern one. It was three times as thick and the Renaissance actually covered an entire unit(3 chapters).

The United States has been lagging in terms of intelligence in schooling -- and I am afraid that it will only get worse. Good thing I am paying for college now. At least it affords me a better education, no matter how expensive it may be.

The fact that he teaches out of a textbook is bad enough! But you'll see more of that in university. I definitely understand your frustration!!

Very cool stuff Gotta love Carl Sagan! Check out the Open Courseware from MIT for some good informational instruction on nearly every topic. Also, checkout iTunes University for lectures on nearly every topic known to man from some amazing Universities all over the world.

You can learn an unlimited amount of stuff not matter how bad/good your public school experience is. Thank goodness. Due to the wonder of the internet

haha, they are troublesome at times, but it's definitely fun. Especially because I get to jam with them and talk to them about nerdy things like outer space

Glad you liked em! MIT courseware is a really cool thing, as are some of those vids on iTunes U! They are portable too which is handy.
