Hello, all,
I came across an old cassette tape with a bunch of jazz tunes on it. I have no idea what the names of most of the songs are, much less who the artists are. Can anyone out there help me identify these songs and even a guess at the artist(s)? I've made a clip of part for each song. Thanks!!

Nice collection! It sounds like various artists and unfortunately those collection records are numerous.
Nr 8 sounds like Miles Davies, but apart from that I have no clue.

I'm not convinced it's "Night Train" played on some of the tracks. But it's definitely different takes of the same tune.

Sorry not to be able to help you more. Keep on searching. Good luck.

7 - Night Train (Maynard Ferguson?)
8 - Barbados (Charlie Parker or Stan Getz?)

You're unbelievable! How do you know all this stuff?
I couldn't guess 3 of them:), and I consider myself jazz guitarist:)
Of course, night train repeats, but nevertheless....

I can't really take any credit for it - I posed this same question on a couple of jazz forums and these were the results. cool.gif
