I just composed this solo,10 mins ago, and I was trying to practice modulation and insure that
I was doing everything correctly. There's an mp3 in the attachment of it.
The chord progression is F Major-B Dim-A Minor which suit (I guess) F lydian,B locrian and A aeolian.(C Major scale)
Excuse my rusty playing I just moved to Australia,a month ago, and didn't bring any of my guitars with me. I just bought
a crappy USB guitar today so I've been playing on it the whole day lol.

Spartan sounds nice!

I would recommend adding another chord to the progression to create smoother transition to A min.
E major is your best choice but its not in the key of C , so you can use E minor then.

Resolutions by perfect 4th sound the strongest , along with stepwise motion.
G to A minor or in your case B dim to A min is good to biggrin.gif

Hope that helps

All played very well, interesting note choice indeed!

I would just add one thing related to theory,
you don't have to think of different mode
every time you play next chord in progression(if all the chord are from the same key),
that kind of approach is useful but also sometimes might distract you,
it's always good to think of A note as a root in progressions like this,
just my 2 cents smile.gif
