GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ New Gmc Member

Hi everyone, my name is Jorge, i'm 32 years old and i'm from Madrid, Spain.

I began to play the guitar 3 years ago (well, actually i got my first guitar 18 years ago, but i had lessons only one year before i left it). I've been practicing more seriously the last two years, but i don't feel like i have made a great improvement and thats the reason why i'm here.

When i bought my first guitar I did it thinking in playing Hard Rock (Guns N Roses, Led Zepellin, Foo Fighters...) and Metal (Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, etc...). Now i've expanded my interest to other styles cause i've found them very funny to play, like the Blues.

In this years i've learned the major and minor chords and scales, but I feel like I dont use them correctly laugh.gif.

Well, I think thats all, there are lots of things to do around here and so little time...

See you!

Hi, thank you.
I already read something about the mentoring program, is one of the reasons i chose GMC; although i'm not quite sure how it works tongue.gif , i definitely have to look into it.

Hola Jorge! Welcome to GMC! smile.gif

I'm now working on my mentoring program called Gab's Army. Check the main thread http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=43110 and let me know if you are interested! You can also choose Alex Feather and Cosmin Lupu as mentors or start working with Ben Higgins and his Guitar Bushido.

Enjoy the site!

Welcome to the group! Your history is kind of like mine. You can check it out in my EPIC Practice Journal Thread. Good luck, take advantage of the tools available here, they are invaluable.

Hi, thank you all for your welcome.

As i said in my first post, there are lots of things to do around here, for now, i will do the task at Ben's Bushido and i've asked Gabriel to let me join his army.

I feel like i have all that i need to master guitar, now the only thing that's missing its me actually playing guitar laugh.gif
