Hi.

I use E-MU 1820m audio card, Cubase SX3, Reason, Ableton
and some VSTs like Addictive Drums, Trilogy, Atmosphere etc.
For guitar sound I use few tools, depending of my mood, sort of speak.
Korg Pandora PX4D, Guitar Rig 3, UAD DSP card with Nygel plug in,
sometimes even Rocktron Prophesy preamp or Mesa Boogie Triaxis preamp.
Best way to record guitar is surely to mic your amp
but sometimes we don't have full accommodation for that
and so we use more silent mode to avoid mad neighbors. biggrin.gif

I record everything into Cakewalk Sonar Producer 3.
I usually use a Boss GT8 multieffect into my M-Audio Omnistudio soundcard.
I use Addictive Drums, Scarbee bass or bass loops and a few soundfounts for various strings and such..
