Lesson Guideline, frequently asked question |

Hi friends
as i read in the threads, there is often comming up one question "where to start ?" - "Lesson plan" - "what to do next" and such stuff i was asking the same question when i started a month ago i found a nice and IMO short and good quideline at http://www.myguitarsolo.com/schedule.htm i attached also an Excel-file with the plan What i like from this guideline - it is good for everyone, you can pick out what you need to practice - there are timeschedules how long you should practice an exercise - and it is splitted into the main parts the only thing thats missing to me - warm up exercises (like in Marcus Siepen lessons) - 5 to 10 mins. - technique exercises (hands synchronisation or finger shifting, etc) - 10 to 15 mins. these 2 exercises i would place at the beginning and then continue with "scales". of course the exercices and video lessons you should find in the archive, depending on each level. in summary there are more then 3 hours daily, but i guess that depends on what you want and what you need to practice. i DO NOT have 3 hours daily but i guess if you pick out about 90 mins it should be ok. maybe some of you guys can use this guideline i wil be glad about some feedback also from you greets Harry EDIT: i added the Excel sheet zipped, now it should work i also changed the hyperlinks to GMC lessons This post has been edited by big harry: Sep 4 2008, 07:47 AM |

Wow, lots of stuff in there!, I bet if someone does all that will improve real fast. Might add some (not all!) of those things into my routine though!
