So I checked him out and he's got a pretty interesting history. Whats interesting is the fact that he became a guitarist in adulthood, and not during his teen years, like 99.99% of all guitarists. This is really inspiring because it dispels the age old belief that in order to become a great musician, you have to start from a young age. Very interesting post! I have always said it: the reason most people don't change the course of their careers at an adult age is not because it's not possible - it's because society (read school!) has always taught us that it's not possible. "If you ain't born with it you ain't got it" Sir Ken Robinson is on my side - and I am sure many more will come, we're proving it every day here! http://www.ted.com/talks/ken_robinson_says...creativity.html edit: (at 11:40 starts the basic message he is famous for, "talent" at 15:00)) This post has been edited by Kristofer Dahl: Apr 5 2011, 10:55 AM |

I was of the persuasion that you have to be born with a talent, until I saw one of your videos, and that convinced me otherwise. It convinced me that there really is no such thing as natural talent, that you have to work at something in order to be good at it. So thank you for posting that video, you're a great guitar player and I really dig your style -------------------- He who laughs last thinks slowest.
