Marek Rojewski - Yngwie Malmsteen Style 5 |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

It was a good attempt at it. But I think you should still play it on a slower tempo and get all the notes right and clean.

Its very good to challenge yourself. I think this piece is a bit too fast for you at the moment of recording. You need to slow it down a bit to clean up the playing and get all the notes in good timing.

This is a very hard piece, and I'm glad you tackled it. I have a feeling you didn't practice it for too long, and you moved up the tempo fast. This is why precision is not that great. Also, I really recommend that you do not anchor your pinky to the body of the guitar. I know it may seem hard and strange at first, but it's a safe path to a more stable and cleaner picking.
