Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I know it's a bit rough and needs to be a little tighter but this lesson is so much fun to play I had to post a take. So here goes.

Really demanding piece, but you somehow manage to win smile.gif ! Of course, the biggest objection is the timing - with a little exercise at a slower tempo it will be a big hit ! What happened with the solo at the very end ? Your version biggrin.gif ? Very good take ,keep practicing !!

Excellent job man, you sure got into the groove, and the tone is great! smile.gif yes, it's a bit rough on the edges, and the only cure is to really slow down the piece and take it step by step. Bending should be more precise/wider, and swifter, but this is it in general.

hey! this is a very difficult lesson and you played it really well! If we divide the take in 2, the first half sounds a bit noisy and has some timing issues to fix.. but when you reach the second half your timing and playing becomes perfect! There are some notes that don't ring but the overall is positive. Well done! smile.gif

Yeah I'm diggin' this.. I loved Ivan's orginal lesson and this also rocks too. biggrin.gif

Totally different tone but it really works with that guitar you have. Like a dirty jazz rock thing.

Just more time to get comfortable with the licks so you can lock into the groove more is all it needs. Good work !

My thoughts are exactly the same with Gabe's regarding your take! Anyway, a bit more practice and you're there!! Ready to do a double jam with Ivan!
