Hi Ivan,
I've seen a video of you on Facebook recently and I really liked your tone on this one.

You turn the knob of the amps before the song (wich is so rock'n roll)

Whats that Marshall your playing on in this video, I taught you were playing with a Hiwatt.

Perhaps this song is awesome with some tight riffage !
That guitarist kicks some serious butt tongue.gif

Thanks! smile.gif This gig was out of town, and I didn't want to bring my Hiwatt because we traveled with the bus, and there was a bunch of us. This Marshall was JCM800 intro 412 cab, standard setup. I used Fulltone OCD for drive tho, Marshall was set on clean. OCD gets along well with JCM800.

That really worked well man. I should try one of these OCD drive pedal, I wonder how they sound with Fender amps. I haven't seen anyone in store tho.

Aren't you scare of the tone you are going to achieve when you don't play on your own gear ?

Thanks man. Try OCD before you buy, but definitely try it with Fender amp if you plan on using the two together. OCD is mild overdrive pedal that is designed to boost up and crunch up your (overdriven) amp. It doesn't work that well on a super clean amp. But it might work well on Fender if you crank it. Marshall is dirty by default, specially live.

No, I played through many different amps, and in time learned to adapt playing/gear to any situation. Knowing how every amp sounds/reacts is what counts. Of course tone is not that consistent, but as long as it is within decent limits it's OK, doesn't have to be boutique sounding. Audience doesn't notice that anyway, they are more interested if I jump on the stage than to admire good sound. smile.gif
