I bought Steve Vai's new CD (sound Theories Volumes 1 & 2) on his website, even though I had to pay $7.95 shipping (!) but it turned out to be worth it because I am one of the lucky one-in-four (2,500 in 10,000) who got a satin pass to get into the Steve Vai meet-and-greet and all sorts of other goodies I suspect!
I am so excited and its totally worth going to a concert on a school night to MEET STEVE VAI! I havn't even listened to the album yet (I most definitely will soon) but it would probably still be worth it without the CD. !!! |

Of course you have to tell him about gmc - he will then remember you as the guy who informed about gmc a whole year earlier than his manager!!

I also got one of the satin passes from the special edition of his new CD. I'm excited out of my mind that I'll be able to meet "his royal vai-ness" And as you said, it's worth the high price of S&H if you get a pass. It's sure to be a great time. I'll try and get some pics and if I do, I'll definitely post them on GMC. And of course, if I even get a chance to talk to him, I'll try to mention GMC. Ahhh, September 23rd seems so far away... P.S.
