Skid Row - Remember Yesterday

I would have to say Journey, I think... Sorry, but they're the masters of ballads. As for favorite songs, probably Don't Stop Believing and Separate Ways. I have other songs I might put down, but "ballad" can be interpreted way differently between people...

Well all the Metallica and Megadeth listed above ofcourse. Also

Montly Crue=Home Sweet Home

Ill think of more later tongue.gif

So many to choose from but I'll go with:

Poison - Every Rose Has it's Thorn....has a bit of sentimental value from when I was a kid

GNR - November Rain....was the first song my B/F and I ever danced to

Cinderalla - Don't Know what You got 'till it's gone.....no reason really just love that song.

Edit: as an honorable mention the Celine Dion song from Titanic "My Heart will go On"....the women can sing and that song is just beautiful.

I'll just give you one, my absolute fav ballad. If I have to do more I have to think and I'm not in the right state for that.
I'm practicing the beer lesson posted earlier today. So here it is.

The only ballad you will ever need.

Alice Cooper - Only Women Bleed

What the hell! Just heard it on Youtube. Excellent! I've never really liked Bruce's solo stuff, but this song was pretty amazing.

Thanks.

Best ballad IMO is Holiday by the Scorpions

Posted by: tonymiro Sep 29 2007, 09:58 AM

I'll try to stick with rock ballads here:

Heart - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxfdDrKO8uM&mode=related&search=

Scorpions - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnKVAP0_Hik

Robin Trower - Long Misty Days

(Sorry this is Trower's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGw3-j6LDUw&mode=related&search= but I can't find a video for Long Misty Days. Bridge of Sighs is wonderful as well...)

Sort of shows my age really - all 70s and early 80s rolleyes.gif
BTW that Johnny Winter was fab.

Cheers,
Tony

Cheesy video, funny to watch, (and it is bruce after all) but the riffs are just awesome, seriously check out "Tyranny Of Souls", one of the best metal albums smile.gif

I'd have to say Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton its musically great and its meaning is one to understand.
