HEj Pedja.

Well I managed to record it somehow. I'm not very pleased with the sound and I also don't have a backing at 130bpm.
The sound is to harsh but you'll get the idea. This the max speed I can play this 16th part and it took me really long to reach it (first I played it for a long time then got discouraged, started again and now I want to grab it by the horns biggrin.gif ). If I play the whole thing the 16th part gets more sloppier 'cause of stamina or concentration problem smile.gif - Which ever comes first:)...I'm gonna buy this weak a multiefect and try to get the sound right. (help on this topic is very welcome!!) I also plan to sit down with my friend and create a backing at 130 bpm.
Well....

Pozdrav!

Denis this is going in the right direction. Some sections are sloppy especially when you are switching in between E and B string.
Have you considered asking Emir for backing track? It would be nice to play this with the actual lesson as you are not far away from actual tempo at all.
Post another take here with backing track, lets hear how you are doing!

I had to stretch Emir's arrangement of this song to 130bpm (at his suggestion) so if it's all right to share that and spare him the work, I can certainly attach it here.

let me know!

Hi,

tnx jaffo but as I'm not playing his version I'm not so comfortable asking wink.gif but I'm gonna try to make my own (it's more fun smile.gif). The only thing is that I don't have any VST for bass guitar in reaper - maybe you guys could recomend some.

Pedja,

I will clean it up more at 130. But how should I proceed? I can play some parts at 140 some at 135. should I continue to speed them up to 145 (Emirs version) and then go back for ex. to 134 and combine them?Or practice everithing at one speed?

Denis

Denis isolate first parts that are problematic. Work on them in real tempo for couple of days. Once you get them down perfectly, connect that with all the rest.
I always like to practice problematic parts with bar or two extra before and after the actual part. That way I make sure I can enter and exit trouble spots comfortably !
