Pretty Sure Wrong Backing Track On A Lesson

I'm going through Bear's beginner lessons and they are very helpful. This lessons (https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginner-s-Corner-2-Open-Chords/) backing track seems to be the one that goes with this lesson (https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginners-Corner-Open-Chords-3/) as the backing track there is the same. I know that some of the instructors do that from time to time but I can't make it work for Beginner 2. I could be wrong as I have been many times when it comes to playing but this just doesn't seem right to me. Can someone else confirm one way or the other?
