You can also add the metronome click or play the tab in slow motion - the possibilites are endless! Most importantly it will play back tabs and allow you to hear the metronome click and to slow down/speed up tempo. You can also use the tuner, scale diagrams, scales etc etc from its tools. Very essential tool to have. Free alternative to Guitar Pro will be Tux Guitar (with less features) : http://tuxguitar.herac.com.ar/ It will also play guitar pro tab files.
