It does indeed come in wine red

Yup, I have that guitar as well, and love it.
It's cherry red actually, but it does indeed look like red wine

Epiphone Colour Chart Comparison:
Cherry Red:  Wine Red:  Look pretty similar to me, the cherry seems to have more grain but thats about it. -------------------- Don't Panic.

I think there is a notice on their site that says what colors is the original painted.
