Hey Pavel, I wanted to know what amp would give me my money's worth? I want to sell my old guitar/old amp, and save up like 200$ and but a 800$ amplifier what would you say is the best for that amount?

I bought my Marshall AVT50 for less than 800$ new, 5 years ago and if you are planning to play at home or have smaller rehearsals with band than it can do a trick. BUT it's not FULL TUBE amp. It's VALVESTATE technology so it combines TUBES and SOLID STATE.

You might also ask MikeM for an advice as he's an amp expert! smile.gif

Not! tongue.gif

But anyway, it too little information about what you're looking for in an amp. How to use it, bedroom or rehearsing or gigs. Are you a bluesman, rock'n'roll, heavy metal, death.

Some amps:
Fender Hot rod Deluxe or Deville, powerful tube amps.
Peavey Classic 30 or 50
Laney LC15R
Or what Hardtail got, a Fender Blues Jr.
Marshall AVT
Mesa: They say the B-52 makes a good Mesa copy, if you're in the US.

Personally I've always put Marshall in front of Fender amps but by the look of it now Fender has a way better amp stock than Marshall. Don't get me wrong, Marshall has some great amps out, but the price you have to pay for those... whew. My personal thinking is that Laney is a better alternative.
