( 8.6, Pass )the Tasty Etude, Lesson By Jonathan Burgos |

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: The Tasty Etude by Jonathan Burgos
Well, it's not exactly my style of playing but Gabriel asked me to give it a try. This post has been edited by eMGie: Mar 16 2012, 02:25 PM |

Hi mate! It's great to see you playing something that isn't your main style. This things really add a lot to our playing. I remember how much Kirk Hammet playing and phrasing (and even his solo tone) improved after taking some lessons with Joe Satriani.
Your playing is good on this one, I can note that you are not very used to play this type of phrasing but maybe playing it once every day you will even incorporate a bit more the feeling of this one. Your vibrato is good and the timing is mostly perfect. Good job! -------------------- My lessons
