I voted Buckethead, the guy is something else in every sense: music/look/behaviour, really different.

They're all super cheesy as far as I'm concerned. But I'd have to vote for Dimebag or Buckethead.

I would say John 5. Putting a number in your name is cool...BUT Marilyn Manson gave him that name and Manson is a complete tool so I can't suggest him!

Never been much of a fan of pseudonyms. I would probably stick to my middle name as a "pseudonum", if I became popular. Of course my middle name is "Storm" tongue.gif

Anyways... I voted other and then I will find someone who has a cooler pseudonym.

Slash, because it was his childhood nickname, and had nothing to do with guitar in the beginning, but sounds like a guitar player name.

His original last name was Wielandt, I expect that is where the Wylde came from. His original first name was Jeffrey, so go figure about Zakk.

Well, traditional for the name is Zack. Short for Issac. Wylde is Irish Catholic (American), and I never knew any Issac's growing up in Catholic school. It is like Lisa probably. There are a zillion ways people spell that now, Liza, Leeza. Well maybe less than a zillion.

I suspect that name predated stardom for him, from school, but just a guess. I know that Jeffrey had connotations of the type of kid who could not play football after school because of violin lessons, at least when I was growing up, sort of like Stanley (but not as bad, nothing was as bad as Stanley...my middle name). It may be different now. Now the name may now conjure up images of Rambo for all I know.
