Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very good man. Some vibratos are better then some, for example last one sounded most solid to me. I think you need to analyze how you do the last one, and apply it to other positions too. It can be tricky at first, but you will get there, important thing is that you are moving your hand properly. Now it's a matter of polishing up those vibratos so you have more control, tone and sync with the tempo.

PS it's a minor detail, but the fretting hand isn't visible during the whole take. Try to make more wider shot for the sake of analyzing better.

Exactly! Like Ivan said, the last one came out best, so watch the vid and see what you did (it was wider and better locked in with the rhythm than all the others) Try to apply this technique to your entire take so that it may turn out better! Keep on rocking mate!

Great effort ! Ivan and Cosmin have some really good advice.. you have the right motions for this technique which is a good thing because it's not easy to learn. If you can get the others sounding more like the last one then you're on the right path smile.gif

The only suggestion I have is to look closer at the fingers you are using when you climb above the 12th fret.. I worked out the fingerings so it would be easier to move from one string to another so have another look at my vidoes and try and use the same fingers as me and see if it makes a difference to moving across the strings cool.gif
