> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi man, this was a great take.

You approached it differently to the original lesson, you made it more of a hard rock / metal riff due to the palm muting. You played everything accurately though and the timing was top notch so it's got to be a 10 cool.gif

Hi Jack! Great job with this lesson! Your take sound full and very tight.

Your rhythm guitar playing is very good for this level so you could now experiment with more advanced stuff. The only difference that I feel between your take and the original one is that Stephane give to the tune more dynamics, he accentuates some parts of the rhythm, mostly the chords that go with the beat to make the tune sound more organic. This is a very little details and difference but it's good to have in in mind for the future.

Keep on rocking!

Hey mate!

Grea take here - nothing else to add aside what the guys said - big congrats and start experimenting with more challenging lessons, while keeping your ears and focus on the details all the time smile.gif

I will throw you the glove with this rhythm based lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/funk-b...-rhythm-lesson/ It involves a different approach because of the funk flavor smile.gif Write me a PM if you like the challenge ad would like to work on it wink.gif

All the best,

Cosmin
