As I told you, please give me your feedback.
Of course, this is for anyone, do not hesitate to give your opinion. In fact, I´d like to know as more opinions as possible.
It´s my band "nm" what use to mean in spanish "necesita mejorar" ("need to improve" in a direct translation but it was a way to give the official form of a very bad result in school).
Any feedback will be really appreciated.
All the guitars are me with an ENGL Thunder 50W and an American Fender Strat.
This was an old project for Sony that finally failed.
A little bit pop I guess, but it was what we were looking for.
Enjoy it.

Hi Kris!!!
I´m quite new here (since 16-August 08).
And I feel that I might tell you my feedback.
First of all, thanks for creating the site, with all the personal efforts involved that surely you had to invest.
I think you might know that this site and all the amazing people that are in here, have made me recover my lost illusions with the guitar. I´m playing guitar for 13 years but the last 3 of them I almost did not play it. Since I know this site I´m practicing several hours a day (what I ever did) and after some post in the forum, I realized that everyone here wants to help and support, and, as Jose Mena says in your profile, I really feel a part of this what is an amazing feeling, so thanks.
Thank you and thank to all GMC community. You all have reminded me "the reasons".
Very well done, so please keep this.
Let´s Rock.

Hi Muris;
Again me.
I get furious practicing alternate picking. I can not do that. I´ve spent years playing, as I´ve just known the name, "economy picking" and I can not change the string in the alternate way sad.gif .
So I decided to practice it in some months, with more developed fingers I whish.
Now I´m trying the E minor melodic solo lesson.
It´s pretty beautiful.
I´m almost nailing it, but I´ve got a problem.
When you bend the string, you don´t hit only the string you bend.
I´ve noticed that you hit a lot of muted!?!?!? strings and that make a very cool sound (remainds me Gary Moore bendings)before and during the bending. How do you make it??
I´m trying it, but I can´t. sad.gif
Could you give me any tip or suggest a lesson to practice it?
I really love that noise before the bending.
Other hard part is the vibrato. I can not make the vibrato in a bended string.
Like before, any tip of how can I practice it?
And by the way, very beautiful solo, and great backing track also. PERFECT!!
Thanks for your answer.

Hi Muris;
I´m new in GMC and also new in seriously studying guitar.
I´ve been playing guitar by myself for ten years and I suppose that I have developed a way of playing that surely has a lot of defects.
I´m practicing your "Alternate Picking - Thirds" lesson and one of those defects, I realized, is that when playing scales I use to play (when it´s possible) Downpick(D)uppick(U)Downpick(D) and I seize that I´m going down with the pick hitting down again the next string. (Going sharper).
I understand that Alternate picking suggests to hit the next string Uppick (or simply just the opposite of the note before), and that makes it, for me, harder to play, slower and noisy.
So the question is, when you change the string you´re playing, which are the benefits of this technique?
May I spend some time practicing this only just like an exercise for my fingers or my right hand or are there some times in which this technique can make me go faster or more clean or something?
Maybe the question is stupid, but I have less theorical idea about music than I should. sad.gif
If this is not the suitable place to ask this kind of things, please let me know. As I said I´m pretty new here and the last thing I want is to disturb.
Thanks anyway for your answer.
PS. Incredible shredding in Dean contest. That velocity seems to be unreachable for me no matter how many years I practice.

Hello GMC community;
I´m completely new in the site. I´ve been trying the site for a couple of days and I realized that this site is exactly what I was looking for!!!
Incredible job done here for all of you.
I live in Madrid (Spain) and my name is Jaime, but everyone call me "Orejas" since the school.
I play in a band in an amateur way, and now I want to improve.
I hope to find some fun here with you.
Anyway, I´ll see you all studying with my guitar.
From Madrid
