Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Welcome to the REC Zone Max ! cool.gif

What a great introductory take.

As I said in the Bushido thread, you've got a real good melodic touch and a knack for really good string bending. Your playing reminds me of me when I was young (er) wink.gif

The only slightly dodgy bits were the bend at 0:27 was quite rushed so it didn't have the full effect and another bend at 0:32 was a bit out of control, again because of not having enough time to fit it in.. apart from that, a great interpretation. I know Cosmin will be pleased.

Very good, very nice tone, and proper picking. I think you need to work more on the timing, specially towards the end, and your bending is OK, but it needs to be a bit more precise, and with more strength.

Max! I told you I like your take form the very moment you showed it to me on youtube smile.gif now, I will give it a 9 because you are almost there with everything - timing, bends and overall feeling. What I'd like you to do now would be to try and focus on the interpretation. You rushed some notes here and there wink.gif listen to the lesson a few times focusing on the length of the notes and the interpretation. Cheerios and go ahead mate, use your thread I just created, if you want to discuss these things biggrin.gif

Hey mate! this take sound awesome! Your guitar tone is killer. I like the attitude of your playing but there are some technique issues to adjust. I'm talking about your bending and your timing at high speed. I noted that some of your bends don't reach the correct pitch and also that your timing isn't perfect when you play fast licks. Concentrate on that and you'll be a guitar hero! smile.gif

Good take! Also nice video effects smile.gif
I liked it but you have some timing issues if you will spend more time practicing it slow with a metronome you will get it to sound perfect! Your tone was pretty good and you got chops! Just need to make it sound tight!

Super take and sound . I recommend you to practice at a slower tempo because you have to adjust the timing with other elements, and then the whole story would be perfect ..Keep rocking !!!

Well played wink.gif The bends could use a bit more work just in terms of nailing the note you are trying to hit. This is not a easy bit to play but you did it quite well. A bit of polish and it'll be perfect.
