So I've been trying to learn this song which is fairly easy,but I just can't seem to get the delay right which ruins the whole purpose of it! How should I adjust it??

You should choose digital delay effect in POD Farm, software that came with your UX1 device. Here's explanation on delay parameters:
Delay Delay Effects create echoes by repeating a delayed version of the signal that feeds them. The FEEDBACK knob on Delay control panels determine how many repeats you’ll hear. TIME determines how late the echo will be versus the input signal, and allows Tap Tempo. A short delay time and low feedback setting will give you a classic “slap back” delay. Longer delay times give you a distinctly separate echo, and higher feedback settings increase the number of echoes.
