I'm pretty sure Bogdan likes me very much since I am the only one brave enough to submit bass recs
Unlike some other guys here...Just starting to learn the metal metrics 1, I'm a bit busy tonight and tomorrow, but saturday will be my guitar day. So expect some first takes by then. And hopefully a better Pillar take as well... -------------------- |

Before I move on to Metal Metrics One now (the legato licks are already driving me insane, tbh) here is a new shot at the Pillar lesson.

Hey Christian! Mate, until 0.45 when the chorus part kicks in, it feels groovie and pretty tight, but from that point on, it's a bit muddy - you need more definition and accuracy
it seems to me that the take before the previous take you submitted, still remains the strongest.Hmmmm, why not give this one a little more time? Let's see how you fare on Metal Metrics 1

Yeah, the part you are talking about is my weak spot in this lesson, it really drives me nuts
I'll see what I can do with MM1, but as I said, the legato stuff in there is really challenging for me. I might call legato my Nemesis! Oh, since this is also my bass training ground: be sure to check out the rec section, you'll be blown away by my bass skills

How to improvise a simple walking bass line using half-step from above/bellow approach and where to play which note. Once you are ready - let me know and I'll make a custom backing track so that you can implement it (improvise on the spot!). If you feel so - you could record a REC of the lesson itself along the way. Main thing here is not to learn the demo tune rather approach behind it. Its simple yet very effective and fun, you'll see!
