Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi, this was a good attempt. There's main places where you need work to get it sounding better.

Firstly, when you bend, you're bending a bit too high so the note is sounding sharp. One thing you can do to help you get the right pitch is the play the note that you are going to bend to before you try bending it. For example, if you are bending from a G to an A, first find and A and play it (it could be on the same string or another string, it doesn't matter) and then practise bending to the same pitch you've just heard. smile.gif

The other thing is timing. Try to work on getting the timing of the phrases the same as what Adrian is doing.

Aside from those areas, you did good. Your vibrato has a lot of potential too !

Hey man! I agree with Mr. Higgins regarding the bending - getting bends into pitch would most likely improve your playing a whole lot, so aim for the presented exercise in Ben's post smile.gif a bit of work and this can go towards the 10 area wink.gif

Hi man! I agree with Ben and Cosmin about this take. If you work on your bends to make they sound perfectly in pitch you will do a take that could be a 10. That's the most important thing to work on now. Check the first tip of this video, this could really help.
