So yeah, I thought I could do a thread about this. 2008 has come, and basically, what records are you anticipating the most this year?

My top 5:

1. Opeth - Unknown name
2. Bloodbath - Unblessing the Purity
3. Katatonia - Unknown name
4. Daylight Dies - unknown name
5. Anathema - unknown name, produced by Steven Wilson

Other mentions: Agalloch - The White, the demo from Six Feet of Foreplay, and maybe something from Dan Swanö's new Death-band.

EDIT: I had to change a bit and mention some other stuff.

I have no idea, but I'm expecting Odd Nordstoga to come with a new album, his last album came in 2006.
I also think Marit Larsen is coming with a new album this year.

Opeth's new album is going to be pretty awesome I'm sure, and I'm hoping Metallica's will be good too.

Yes sad.gif I liked load though, so even if they went back to that (and by all accounts they are going back further than that) I'd be happy. But if they could rekindle the Kill em All - ..And justice or even black album magic I'd be really happy.

I'm with you. It could be the Black Album all over again, I don't know if I'd go as far as to say Load, but I guess as long as it isn't St. Anger...
