Hola hola mis amigos, since a few months i was wondering about the string vibration in different tunnigs.

So, in the standard tunnig, if you play an open A in the 5th string the string vibrates 440 times per second, but what happens in the drop D and C tunnigs? does anybody knows? huh.gif

It just vibrates at a lower frequency. According to this chart, if the Low E string was tuned to D, it would vibrate at 293.66 Hz, and if it was tuned to C it would vibrate at 261.63 Hz.
