Well played smile.gif Can barely hear the backing but your playing sounded good smile.gif Doing a full recording would be a good place so it would be easier to hear your bits with the backing. Grab the mp3 and throw it in your daw and record over it. smile.gif

I personally like the way the band have grown and changed over the years, but the Black Metal "Faithful" of course, see this new direction as a bit of a betrayal. It must be tough being a Black Metal band in that your really limited in terms of what fans expect. The form is sooooooooo prescribed that there is no real room for creativity or change. Great to see bands fighting the "Orthodoxy" smile.gif This is a video from back when they were "TRU" and "KULT", ahem.

Agree with Todd. Sounded good but it would be cool to hear it done through the DAW.
I only have Satyricons 'Now, Diabolical' album but I really like it. I Keep meaning to check out their other stuff.

The one before it 'Volcano' is good as well. I've also got 'Age of Nero' and 'Rebel Extravaganza'. That last one is between their transition from full on BM to the slightly more accessible sound. I haven't heard it in years but it's got some really intense stuff on there.

But yeah, check out 'Volcano'

Not bad at all smile.gif Ive been listening to it this morning, thanks for the suggestion duder.
There is definitely something about black metal and its arguable variant off-shoots that I really like.

NICE!!!! smile.gif Now your talking. Well played and well recorded. Sounds MUCHO better smile.gif

Making videos is like guitar, it just practice and repetition. I'd suggest, for your next tweak, we can't see you or your hands as well as I'd like as you are "BACK LIT" by the window. The easy fix for that is to put your camera facing away from your primary light source (the window) instead of towards it. That way we get to see you better and what your playing.

These types of vids are fun and great practice. Keep making em!

Todd

Thanks Todd for all the very useful feedback smile.gif I will keep making these videos and next time will keep in mind the advice about the light. In the meantime I updated my previous post with a HD version of the video. So maybe there you can see the guitar and my hands better smile.gif
