Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi, Annemie. This is sounding really nice. Top marks for improving your bending skills, you've made a massive improvement ! smile.gif

In the opening phrases, at 0:05 etc, the semitone bend is not quite coming through as it should. It should be FRET / BEND / RELEASE / PULL-OFF... when you play it, it sounds more like FRET / BEND / HAMMER-ON. it happens very quickly in the original so I'm not going to be too harsh on you here. If you can get that subtle feature sorted it will make the whole performance so much better smile.gif

As Cosmin suggested, you did hold back on the vibrato - good job. You could benefit from further work on your vibrato so you can get it sounding wider and stronger for those moments where the music needs it !

Hi Annemie! Good job on this lesson!

I like the feeling of your playing on this lesson, it's really nice to hear your take. As Ben said, your bending is better but you still need to work on it to make it more consistent and to make all of them reach the correct pitches. Another thing that you could improve on this one is your vibrato technique which is not bad but sometimes it's a bit weak and irregular, so there is definitely more room to improve it.

Other than these two things, I think that your playing is very good on this one. Keep on the good job!

Gab.-

Most of the notes sound clean and in-tune yet some still need some more care. Taking a listen to Your overall playing here I think You have a good ear and just need to practice some more to lear thow to make You fingers do, what Your ears say is right smile.gif
