Slow Soloing Lesson, Original by Trond Vold |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

This lesson should provide you a good exercise for precise bending. Some bends came out good, some not so well. VIbrato needs to be more controlled as well. I like the way you pick and mute the strings, you have proper tone control and timing.

Very nice take. Just a suggestion, be sure to check the intonation of each string before recording the final take. If the guitar has a perfect setup this only means that you should work on your vibrato and bending to get a good pitch for each note. Otherwise even notes with no bending/vibrato will sound wrong.

Cool take. You should definitely check out guitar's tuning and intonation as you are sounding a bit out of tune and I'm not sure if it's your bending technique/vibrato or the hardware.
I like how strong you picking hand is. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
